MISSION
In one or two sentences, outline the primary purpose(s) of this position within the organization
Enforcing the site¡¯s EHS management program in the following areas: Safety, accident, machine conformity requirements, working environment improvement tracking, environmental protection, energy management, waste management, fire safety process management
Monitoring of the EHS activities in the IMS system (process review, KPIs management, procedure periodic review and update, corrective and preventive actions implementation as needed and resources provision for process realization) taking into consideration relevant requirements and its evolution
Primary Responsibilities
Outline the key areas of responsibility for this position, including all related activities under each area
Participate actively in the ASIA SAFETY committee
• Monthly reporting to ASIA Manager
• Participate in division EHS committee
• Contact and/or communicate division or group department manager if needed technical support
Make and ensure continuous improvement of the site¡¯s EHS management program- As PO requirement
• Maintain or minimize EHS Hazard/Risk and Environmental impact from any activities perform in the perimeter through regulator training.
• Supports site management on EHS requirements and performance
• Helps to ensure EHS control plan is fully implemented (Training, Maintenance, sampling and monitoring¡¦)
• Helps identify unsafe conditions and environmental risks and recommends action plans
• Follows up EHS action plans implementation
• Follows up on Energy management programs
• Analyses accidents, incidents and occupational illnesses to set action plans with management

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS
Personal Background
o Bachelor¡¯s Degree in Safety with mechanical or automation background
o Professional Certification OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001
o Minimum 5-7 years of performing safety officer
o Minimum 5 years in leadership position Job Technical skills
o Very Strong communication skills both one on one as well as in large group settings
o Drives change both in processes and the people that execute them
o Strong problem solving skills – experience in 5 Why, 8D, and PDCA methods a plus
o Ability to interact effectively within all levels of the organization (hourly, management, and executive levels)
o Real life experience both leading and participating in the implementation of Safety management system
o Ability to perform technical risk assessment and drive the improvement change
o Good understanding of the legal requirements for health, safety and environment of the country Job Soft skills
o Computer proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
o Good interpersonal skills and communication skills
o Positive outlook of the future, despite difficulties or tough situations

• Advises plant management in case of non-conformance in environmental, safety or working conditions.
