POSITION:FINANCE MANAGER – KOREA
LOCATION:SEOUL
RESPONSIBLE TO:REGIONAL FINANCE DIRECTOR and KOREAN
GENERAL MANAGER
*Primary Responsibility
-To provide financial and business advice to the Korean Management Team
-To manage the production of financial and sales reports on a monthly basis.
-Undertake general maintenance of the general ledger.
-Undertake company Secretarial Duties.
-As a member of the Korean Management Team, to participate in strategic
planning and high level management decision making
-Ensure all data presented is to the relevant Accounting Standards and US GAAP.
-To ensure that financial controls are in place to minimize the risk to the company
of error or fraud.
-To organize resources within the department to achieve Corporate and local
requirements, in particular to develop systems to improve the effectiveness of the
Department.
-To prepare budgets and forecasts for the Korean business unit.
*LIAISE WITH:
• Regional Finance Director
• General Manager Korea
• Sales & Marketing Staff in Korea
• Other Relevant Managers including overseas staff
*Qualification
- MS Excel spread sheet knowledge
- Previous work experience in a similar position
- Proven ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent English Language Skills
- Communication skills
- Knowledge of Accounting Standards
- Tax Rulings
