* Your Key Responsibilities
- Financial Controlling and Reporting: Lead the Controlling Korea, including Central Controlling and Plant Controlling teams working at each site (Changwon, Jeonju, Ansan and Icheon), ensuring the accuracy and timelines of financial planning and reporting in line with global and regional standards.
- Strategic Financial Management: Develop, align, and implement Schaeffler Group's finance controlling policies, standards, and guidelines within the subregion Korea, ensuring they are adapted to local business needs while remaining aligned with global objectives.
- Project and Resource Management: Oversee and manage finance-related projects, including budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, and process improvement. Ensure that all financial activities are supported by effective systems, tools, methods, and processes efficiently.
- Leadership and Cross-functional Collaboration: Facilitate strong finance business partnering with country leadership, ensuring collaboration across subregional, regional, and global teams to drive strategic financial initiatives.
- Control Environment and Compliance: Ensure a robust financial control environment is established and maintained across all areas of the business in the country, mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with local & regional regulations and global standards.
- Collaboration with FSSC: Work closely with the Finance Shared Services Center in Malaysia to ensure that shared service transactional activities for the Controlling Korea are executed optimally and that related processes are performing efficiently.
* Your Qualifications
- Educational background: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experiences: Minimum 10 years of experience in Finance, encompassing strategic financial management, data analysis, and financial performance reporting.
And at least 3 years in managerial role, demonstrating the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects across subregional, regional, and global levels.
- Skills: Proficiency in both English and Korean, with strong communication skills in both spoken and written formats.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with process-oriented mindset focused on compliance and efficient process management.
Familiarity with international finance standards, ability to implement global financial policies at the local level
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams across multiple operational sites, effectively managing resources, projects, and budgets to achieve business objectives.
